+265 Amirite notifications are more exciting to get than Facebook notifications, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

they're really not even comparable

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah, mainly because they have nothing to do with Farms or Mobs or shit like that.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I get so many notifications on facebook per day because people send stupid game requests.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Facebook: "Julia Smith sent you a free movie in Flixter!" Amirite: "Anonymous commented on your post: 'you, sir, are the most intellectual and intelligent specimen I have ever observed on le internetz."

by Anonymous 11 years ago

^Truth.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Or in other words, you guys have a crappy social life..

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Says the person commenting anonymously on amirite.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Because caring more about legitimate occurrences than receiving a gift on FarmVille from my "friend" Paul Ackerman who I vaguely remember from my 7th grade baseball team means I have a crappy social life.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

@YeahIAm Exactly, that's what I love about amirite. It's always relevant to you. Plus, people on here tend to actually be intelligent beings unlike most of the dumbasses on Facebook.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Ah, but there's always exceptions... *cough* Anonymous *cough*

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Haha, exactly!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The thing is, if you had an awesome social life, you'd actually receive notifications for party invites, inbox messages and for numerous photo and post comments. Now if you have 8th graders as friends, or anti socil friends, than that would explain the game invites.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm sorry you think that's what a social life is. Nobody actually sends party invites on Facebook. And inbox messages aren't the same as notifications. Lots of Facebook notifications =/= a thriving social life.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh, and @YeahIAm, I love how our comments both just happen to be anonymously voted down. Silly anon, trying to make it look like they're right and the majority is against us no

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Funny cause I do receive party invites on Facebook. If you prefer notifications from people you don't know on this website, compared to posts, pics, and comments from people within your social group, that's saying something...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Lol I just realized I'm arguing about social life with a fucking 12 year old who spends all their time on the Internet. Wait a few years kid...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

What makes you think I spend all my time on the internet? Oh, and it's just a little creepy that you clicked "View All Messages" on my profile. That really doesn't help your case here.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It sounds like you don't understand the difference between text messages and Facebook notifications, Anonymous...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah, I think Anon may have misunderstood what I said. When I said "party invites," I meant on Facebook. Obviously I get invited to go places outside of Facebook.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

On here: My stomache gets all fluttery, and I check it right away. On Facebook: Meh, notification. Ignore.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

On amirite notifications are usually about a topic you are genuinely interested in, such as comments on a post or messages with other intellectuals.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

They used to be, but now I get heaps of notifications with replies to a thread I started in the forum so now they're annoying.
