It's not letting me reply to the thread, which is a shame. Nonetheless: @frogy8thefly: Did you actually just imply that it's unhygenic to have pubic hair BUT that if you have some there is no reason to wash it (I'm not saying you need to use shampoo and conditioner on it, soap works very well)? In what world does that make sense, seems a tad strange. Surely if you're so concerned about being a "normal, hygenic person" then if you had pubic hair you would just wash it--Oh, like a "normal, hygenic person" would do. In fact, I think your approach--just shave it off--is not actually the approach the majority of men and women take. Erego, not so much there with the "normal, hygenic" thing you thought you had going for you. Armpit hair, arguably, has good reason to be shaven off as a lot of people sweat there. Pubic hair on the other hand is purely aesthetic, as is leg hair.

I feel like it's more common to shave than not to shave in this day and age.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Hmm. Maybe so. I'll admit that I tried it once, just to see what the fuss was all about, but never again. I just don't understand shit like shaving it all off and stuff like vajazzling. It seems like the stupidest idea ever. As if women didn't feel they had enough to do to appease or entice a partner, now some people actually stick pretend jewels on their vaginas. I'm sure that's no picnic when you have to take them off.

I've tried it before too. I admit that I can see why people would like keeping themselves clean shaven, but it's just not for me. It's a bit ridiculous that people are trying to put off pubic hair as 'disgusting' now, it's not putting any sort of impact on their life whatsoever.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's not always about enticing or appeasing a partner. Some people just don't like having pubic hair.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well of course. I'm saying I don't understand why some people are so concerned about other people's preference though.

I think most girls (taking the age range on amirite into account) shave their pubic hair, or at least keep it so short its not worth shampooing? Guys seem to expect women to get rid of all their body hair...I think its a porn thing.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That doesn't mean it's a porn thing. Would you like a mouthful of hair whenever you go down on him? I can understand his reasoning on that one, although you still do not HAVE to shave for him.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

No. I trim it so it's not even worth it. But when I'm too lazy, and there's like a lot of hair, I still don't because I'm afraid I'll get it in my vagina and that it'd hurt really bad.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Trip it, then shave it, and rinse off really good. I think your worries rarely ever happen. Of course, do what makes you comfortable =]

by Anonymous 11 years ago

*trim

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I use body soap on it, but...conditioner? Were you planning to style it?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

No, that's where the hairspray and gel come in.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't, because I shave. Else I might.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I think just soap suffices, doesn't it? I don't know how many people are looking for voluminous, silky smooth pubic hair...
