+100 you would be ashamed if Bach or Mozart came back from the dead and listened to the radio and asked you "wtf is this?" and you would have to tell them it is music, amirite?

What if they liked it?

Call me an idealist, but I'd like to think the likes of Bach and Mozart wouldn't be so elitist and snobbish about music.

What? The sounds have changed significantly since then, chances are they would at least be extremely interested in the new kinds of music being produced before condemning it.

I'd be more concerned about how the hell they came back to life.

I was thinking about this yesterday. If Beethoven came up to me and I had to show him one song that best describes modern current music, what song would I choose? I went to YouTube, where the top song is "Call me Maybe," and I gave up then and there.

lolwut Good luck trying to get a deaf guy to listen to music.

Oh, no. I imagine such a musical mind would first get hearing implants upon his arrival to the future, THEN investigate the state of our music tastes.

I think they'd be more impressed by the invention of the radio.

Mozart would love today's musical environment. If he was resurrected I'm pretty sure he'd become a millionaire within a couple years.

And when a lot of classical musicians listened/looked at stuff from the middle ages, they probably burned it because of all the parallel fifths and octaves.

They'd be more appalled by the grammar of todays generation.

You could say this about music from pretty much any time period at least 50 years after their deaths. Why would they like The Beatles but hate Justin Bieber? The difference to them would be pretty insignificant.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it bad.
