As an inspiring comedian, the best thing to do is change the person's name. That way, the audience gets to hear the joke and the person keeps their anonymity.

Depends on who hears the joke and how you tell it. Comedy is all about the details you put into it.

Especially in the tweeting world we live in! haha. And btw, like the comment about details - that's true. Comedy is ALL about these details. Like in the office, most of the funniest stuff isn't what they say, but their facial expressions as the things are being said!
