It's stupid that The Dark Knight Rises is doing worse in the box office because of the shooting in Colorado. There's nothing wrong with the movie: there's something wrong with the shooter. Amirite?

Is it really doing worse though? It didn't break any box office records, but that's because it wasn't released in 3D, and it dropped a lot this weekend because of the Olympics. But yeah if anyone is actually not seeing it because of Aurora then that's just dumb.

It doesn't have to do with the quality of the movie. I'm willing to bet there are plenty of people who aren't going because they wouldn't want to be involved in a repeat.

I went to go see it last weekend and I have to admit it felt really strange and kind of eerie especially when I saw the scene that it happened during (on articles it said about 15 minutes in during a shooting scene) Also during the trailers I went to the bathroom and I was kinda paranoid walking in the front because it was so dark and big
