'Lurp' should be the word used to describe the feeling between 'like' and 'love', amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
It sounds like burp.
by Anonymous11 years ago
That's usually how rhymes work.

Yes, yes it is. However it sounds more like burp then like or love. If a person said they lurped someone, I'd assume they actually meant that they burped on them.

You wouldn't want a word that sounds like burp to describe your affection for someone. "I lurp you", really?
by Anonymous11 years ago
I think it sounds kinda gross...Or naughty...Or maybe both
'Hey there, I'm gonna lurp you tonight"
It's also one letter away from slurp
by Anonymous11 years ago
I'm gonna make sweet, sweet lurp to you
Seems like an absolute no to me
by Anonymous11 years ago
'I don't know how to say this but....I...I lurp you.'
yeah that sounds pretty romantic
by Anonymous11 years ago
It really does

I would go with lurve as an alternative to this, but that sounds kinda off, too.

It doesn't even sound like a combination of the two. I mean, that's virtually impossible in the first place because even if you combine the two, you'd end up getting some weird word combo like "liove" or just simply "love".
So it doesn't work. At all.
by Anonymous11 years ago
It's not supposed to be a combination...Why does it have to be?
Good->Great->Best

wtf are you talking about
by Anonymous11 years ago
You could also combine it to "live."
by Anonymous11 years ago
Or, you know, you could always just make up your mind as to whether you like or love them...
Just a thought
