No. I remember that genetics exist and I'm not close-minded towards or prejudice against people for having an abovr average body weight.

I didn't say above average, I said morbidly obese. Hypothyroid or not, there's no genetic excuse for being morbidly obese.

Yes, so above average body weight. Above average means anything above the average. And yes, there is a genetic excuse. Just like some people can't gain weight from eating 3,000 calories everyday, there are some people who can gain a lot of weight from eating 2,000 calories. Sometimes, that weight gain can be excessive, and in the case of my friend who barely eats even a meal everyday, she is obese and no amount of diet helps her, it seriously can't be helped. And it really pisses me off when people think that weight is purely defined by their diet. They're uneducated and ignorant. Some people just can't help being obese unless they try ridiculously desperate last resorts, like excessive exercise for several hours each day, or dieting to the point where your calorie intake is below 1,000. And sometimes, even then, they can't lose as much weight as they want and feel helpless and ugly. Even obesity isn't a choice sometimes. Some people can help it, others can't. But you can't just categorize them all as big eaters who are lazy fucks.

Yes Adonis, that's all good and well. And true. But there //are// people who have eaten too much to gain their massive weight. I think it's safe to assume that's what the OP meant. We don't need to get all politically correct on everything.

I never said there wasn't. We do need to get politically correct, because people are stupid and ignorant and I bet most people who read what I wrote didn't even know any of it was true. People just fucking assume all fat people are fat because they eat and those have got to be some of the most ignorant people I've seen.
