+164 Life is too valuable to not wear a seat-belt, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I never wear a seatbelt, seeing as the speed limit here is 10 - 20 mph.

hmm that's a good point but accidents can still happen and the impact might be less threatening with the seat-belt

The thing is, we don't actually have any laws that enforce the use of seatbelts. It's pretty odd to see people wear them; only foreigners put seatbelts on. But yea, I guess seatbelts are safer in case of accidents.

Nevada? Or is it just an American thing?

Everywhere. I see those commercials a lot, and I live in North Carolina.

Everywhere except New Hampshire. It's probably because our motto is "Live free and die"

YES people wear your seatbelts! Intentionally being super cheesy and saying IT SAVES LIVES and seriously it takes seconds, and if you have weak upper body strength its a great way to start working on those biceps and triceps.

True enough. I feel like people that don't where seatbelts are fools. But I also feel like you can make that choice for yourself without being forced to
