+35 If Mitt and his 5 Sons could get knocked up he would be out there handing out birth control, and be pro choice, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

First of all, Mitt Romney isn't against birth control. He's against requiring Churches to provide health insurance for contraception. And you shouldn't make the stupid conclusion that pro-life are rallying against women's rights. It's a fucking moral or religious issue for them, and they're truthfully thinking "Babies shouldn't be killed," not "Haha, let's fuck women over with this new law." I am, by the way, pro-choice.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'd love this 500 times if I could.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

thankyou for loving this 500 times in your heart

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah...not the post. I disagree with you completely.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

excellent !

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Romney probably isn't against women's rights, but he is willing to take one of their rights away to protect the unborn children. If it was //his// rights being taken away, OP is saying he would change his mind. Jokes about politicians being selfish are nothing new or outrageous. If this was a serious post about politics and abortion, do you think it would be under "Lego?"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

But my problem lies with it being about religion. Religion and government are supposed to be kept separate. Just because your religion is against it, does not mean it shouldn't be available to everyone.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

while I agree that religion shouldn't dictate government, I think this is sort of a special case. Fact of the matter is we're discussing lives here. Sure, unborn lives, but lives nonetheless, and whether or not it's okay to end them so early on (given the circumstance). And it's not like we disagree with abortion just because religion tells us not to- we truly believe it's wrong. You can't define our opinions as solely religion-based when there can be plenty of personal meaning behind them as well.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yes, but forcing people to do something against their religion is violating freedom of religion, and again mixing religion and government. As much as people want, religion and government will never be completely separate.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i have children and i never killed any of my babies

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I agree with you on the first part but I believe that banning abortion is a direct attack on women's rights. You just can't say you support the rights of women if you are okay with the government forcing women into pregnancy and childbirth against their will. Banning abortion would put many women in jail and encourage dangerous back-alley abortions.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You are an awesome, awesome, awesome guy.

by Anonymous 10 years ago

And not everyone that's been through an unexpected pregnancy wishes they'd had an abortion. Your logic is terrible

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i have experienced unexpected pregnancy and regret nothing , you no nothing about my children, i've never had an abortion

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You also know nothing about spelling and capitalization.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

my degree is in literature . i am emulating e e cummings.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Then fucking act like it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i shall try, to uphold the exacting standards of this great literary website amirite.net.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You could start by capitalizing the I at the beginning of your sentence.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

then i shall not be emulating my favorite writer shall i, just what do you kids study in school?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Conventions, like grammar and spelling and syntax and punctuation. You should try it sometime.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

did. graduated with honours, then went to university.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Doesn't really show, now does it?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

sure does, sure shows in my paycheck!! and in the house i own and the car i drive! and all the travelling i do!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Alas, you are but an Anon, and cannot prove this as fact.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

sure i can !

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The fact that you are arguing with a fourteen year old girl only serves to diminish the value of your words.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

you have no idea my age, and you started to bully me just because you don't appreciate my literary style. you are, simply put, a nasty troll. enjoy your goat stew.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Bully? You thought that was bullying? And to think you're old enough to have all those things you spoke of.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

what do you think is "old enough"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

To own your own house, car, and degree from a university, you have to be at least >21.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

18. last friday. finished highschool at 15 etc etc. accelerated programmes .

by Anonymous 11 years ago

What country do you live in? Congrats on being that fucking smart.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

goodluck sweetie, have fun !

by Anonymous 11 years ago

...thanks?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

what in your esteemed opinion, is old enough for me to have earned these things i speak of

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't know where you live, but in the US you have to be 26 to buy a car. So probably 26-30ish.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

holy shit, here you can be any age, but 16 to insure and drive one

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well I guess that makes a lot more sense then. What about owning a house?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

if you have the down payment and income and your bank approves your mortgage, you can purchase a home ,i am not sure if there is any age limit, probably for under 16 the parents would co sign

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That sounds really cool. If I may ask, what country do you live in?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

canada

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Well now that makes sense. US of A sucks.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Lots of women are pro-life.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

so am i

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i am pro life, and pro choice, they are not mutually exclusive,

by Anonymous 11 years ago

How can you be both?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I personally would not kill anyone,or have an abortion, I have 5 kids myself ....but i think that there are certain circumstances that would permit it. so I am prolife and prochoice

by Anonymous 11 years ago

So... what about Ann?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

that woman is a fool, who needs to drive 2 caddys? her mother could have used a little suction at 6 weeks

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I seriously don't see what's so bad about the cadillac thing. She has the money, why the hell not? She wouldn't be the first, either.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

They give tons of money to charity, she can spend some on herself.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Hahahhaha no, probably not. He's a republican for pete's sakes. He'll be pro-choice in his private life, but if you've got a bunch of conservative people funding YOUR campaign, heck, you won't bat a single eyelash to vote along party lines.
