-34 Gangnam Style is extremely over rated, amirite?

I suppose it is now, but I think it was all a joke... as in he was mocking current artists in the video.

And still better than most shit out there today

I see how it can be seen as over-rated due to the almost unbelievable, hysterical phenomenon it has inspired, but, in a way, I think it deserves the attention. K-pop hadn't had its turn in the spotlight yet and, in all seriousness, I think the music video is great. It's fast-paced, it keeps you interested, and the dance is fun to try and imitate. Also, it's rather nice that, for once, young people/people my age are going crazy over a song that isn't about drinking or getting up in the club or having sex. These days, it seems like it's admittedly pretty hard to catch people in my age group's attention without being a bit risque, but this song did it, and in my book, that deserves praise and acclaim.

It is. Yes, I commend Psy for doing the unthinkable, but I really found nothing special about it. The song? There's millions of songs with a catchy beat. The dance? Very humorous, but in kpop, there's tons of catchy dances. Not to mention the overwhelming number of Americans who think kpop is some new amazing genre @_@ Congrats, Psy, for bringing more exposure to kpop, but really .. I think he's gonna be a one hit wonder. #ailin

I love that song. Though maybe it's because I've got some really good memories associated with it.

Agreed.

I dunno, considering every other song that comes out of the same country...it's not terrible.
