+184 I don't understand why everyone says that they are "stalking" when they are on Facebook. What else is there to do on Facebook than to look at everybody's pictures and statuses? It's not stalking; it's just being on Facebook, amirite?

looking at the newsfeed is one thing. looking at someones previous status updates, photos, comments, etc is borderline stalker-ish.

No, it's just like asking a person how their week was, or looking at some pictures on their phone/camera/photo album (with their consent).

"Stalking" isn't just scrolling down your newsfeed or looking at someone's latest status / pictures though. It's going through practically every single one of someone's pictures / statuses from the beginning of time.

There's nothing wrong with that; they're there for a reason.

Exactly

I think this says something very creepy about facebook....it's a stalk-machine and that's what its use is.
