"YES WE CAN" Obama didn't get us into this mess, Bush did. amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you're talking about the war, blame Congress, they could have stopped writing the checks to support the troops at anytime, plus they a president can't declare war.
by Anonymous14 years ago
plus a* not they a.
by Anonymous14 years ago
why put yes we can at the begining of this?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Bush didn't either. America was having problems long before the 21st century.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Bush didn't exactly fix the problem, but it wasn't all his fault. It wasn't all one party's/person's fault.
by Anonymous13 years ago
my question: how did this just make it to the homepage? question 2: you still liking obama even though he hasnt done shit to fix anything?
by Anonymous13 years ago
He's trying except he can't get shit passed in Congress.
by Anonymous13 years ago
bullshit. congress is nothing but democrats at least for the next 2 weeks. shit would get passed if he were actually doing anything.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Actually it's not all democrats. Do some research.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That was definitely a little bit of an exaggeration. Democrats do have the majority though and that's what I was saying.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes they have the majority but not by much.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Actually it was Bob the Builder! DUH!
by Anonymous13 years ago
really, it's the country's fault for voting for him
by Anonymous13 years ago
More like the Electoral College's. They are supposed to vote their representative state's popular vote, but there isn't a set rule to make them do so.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well, he won the popular vote, too, and that's the country's votes.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Just saw this on the just in and thought it related perfectly :D

true that home slice
by Anonymous13 years ago
There's not much of a point in blaming anybody. The fact is we have a problem, now let's fix it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes Obama failed to avoid the recession, but did you ever think that maybe that was because the recession could not be avoided?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree... you can't blame any president for a recession. A recession starts when people stop spending.
by Anonymous13 years ago
its not really just one persons fault either blame congress remember congress can reject any presidential veto also Obama just made a lot of promises he probably didn't think it would be that hard to pass
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm Canadian so there is no "this mess" for me =)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Alright guys, Bush wasn't Jesus, kay, but the media DEFINATELY over states that.
But lets just say that Bush wasn't the ONLY guy in America who bought like he owned it all.
Thats right, the people should take some blame for getting America deep into debt and crashing the housing market. YOU DON'T "DESERVE" A HOME AMERICA. YOU "DESERVE" WHAT YOU WORK FOR
by Anonymous13 years ago
True. But Obama drove us into a o e trillion dollar debt in his first six months if being president.
by Anonymous13 years ago
True. But Obama drove us into a one trillion dollar debt in his first six months if being president.
by Anonymous13 years ago
But does Obama help?
by Anonymous13 years ago
No, because in our government, all branches have equal power. Meaning that WE have to do something about it.
...
Hehe. You have comment 699069.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Did you seriously post this? Know your history, the housing bubble inflated bc of Clinton(look it up) it burst because Bush couldn't change it. What has Obama done? He didn't lower taxes for EVERYONE, he didn't stop the war, he didn't close Guantanamo, and he didn't pass Healthcare... If he can't do these things with the congress now, just wait until next month. LONG LIVE THE REPUBLICANS
by Anonymous13 years ago
Bush started it. Obama is making it worse. They've both done their share...ha
by Anonymous13 years ago
Obama may not have fixed anything but he didnt make anything worse. It hasnt even been a year, hop off his dick and quit judging him.
by Anonymous13 years ago
im pretty sure it's been almost two years..
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wasn't he sworn into office in January 2009... And it's now October 2010...
by Anonymous13 years ago
