+86 It's kinda unfair when people get so upset with the weather station when the forecast is wrong. It's called a prediction for a reason, amirite?

Also note that they're predicting for a large region - when they say "40% chance of rain," they mean that it will rain in 40% of that region and they're usually right. If they wanted to, they COULD predict more accurately for your specific house, but it they don't have time for that.

The climate is such a huge, complex system. It should be no surprise to anyone that it's difficult to accurately predict the weather. It's like the old saying... if all the meteorologists in the world switched places with all the economists, no one would notice a difference.

it's just annoying when they say there's a 100% chance of precipitation and there is none....

I'm not talking just about the instance with the 100% peope get upset when there's a 50% chance of sunny and then it's not plus, even with the 100%, it's not really saying that there's no chance at all that the weather may be different it's still a prediction in the end
