My work is **** when it comes to breaks. We don't get scheduled breaks or anything because sometimes we need everyone there cuz of how busy it is and we don't really know when that's gonna be. And since we make pizzas, it's kind of important to have everyone there when we need them or else pizza might fall out of the oven and onto the floor of there's no one there to take them out when they get to the end of it or the phone might be ringing and everyone might be busy at the make line and stuff like that. So every time we have nothing to do and we're waiting around for customer, that's considered break. I can still go outside for a cigarette on that "break" but if they need me they can call me back in. Once I was allowed to go to the gas station down the street to buy a lighter cuz I forgot one and my soon to be new manager gave me some cash so I could go buy it as long as I brought him back a Power-aid, but that was early in the day when we're usually not doing shit but making boxes and preparing ingredients for the make line and stuff. Cool story, I know. Also, I think it's kind of weird we can say shit but not shi**y.

Damn, that sucks. I couldn't imagine not getting a break. I'm a cart attendant at Target (fucking hate it) and it's terrible during the winter. I'm literally outside the whole work day just getting carts cause it's so busy. And they usually "forget" to give me breaks... yet they make me cover other peoples' breaks.. wtf
