+72 Just because you've ran out of ideas, doesn't mean you should quit, amirite?

I don't think one should quit trying to be successful. But if they have no ideas for a specific task/goal, or no idea what they're doing, can lead them down a road that they didn't want to, or most likely nowhere at all; kind of like beating a dead horse. They need to have a plan in order to conquer any goal successfully. Without a plan, it's just aimless stupidity or literally stalling. If there is a blank moment, put it away and move on to something else. Maybe revisit it later after some time with new acquired information. Not to say great things can't happen by accident. But that's different - someone experimenting with an idea supported with an hypothesis, and a direction, can result in something that they never even thought of in the first place. Nothing wrong with having an idea and running with it.
