I think I have a couple but the smell of smoke it's just a no no

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I acquired that one early. My maternal grandfather smoked cigarettes, cigars and pipes. To me the smell of smoke is ameliorative of my mood.

I think the idea of ruining my lungs is what stops me from acquiring that taste like picturing them like this when I inhale that nasty second hand smoke http://smokerslungs.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/smokers-lungs-121.jpg

Last year my friend and her mom had me try wine. I'm still scarred by the experience.

It is not hard to like everything. There are things that we naturally like (ex: sugar or sex) or dislike (ex: anything gross). There is a reason to that. But I think most tastes (especially for anything more elaborate) are acquired. You can like virtually anything if you associate it with a good feeling, the inverse being also true.
