I can tell a gay person apart just by looking at them. Usually if they are wearing Toms, have died hair, squeaky or high voices, and when they are hanging out with A LOT of girls. And when they shake hands it's a little light.

If you can only tell if someone is gay when they fit the stereotypical gay person, you don't have very good gaydar.

No, you're just steryotyping and demeaning gays! Look at these two people: o-< and o-<...which one is gay? YOU CAN'T TELL BUT THEY'RE BOTH JUST HUMAN AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS ANYWAY!

A lot of people thought I was gay at my old school before I realized it myself. I still don't know how they did that.

I think it's easier for girls to detect lesbians and for guys to detect gay men, but that might be just me. There's this different way that a lesbian/bisexual girl will catch your eye if you're a girl, where she'll kind of look at you in an attempt to flirt in the most subtle way possible to test your reaction. Of course, it's always easier to see this if you know what you're looking for, which is why lesbians tend to have better gaydar than straight girls.
