You're glad that you don't know your expiration date. Amirite?

an example of when ignorance is bliss

Just imagine how you'd feel on the day (and the days leading up to) you knew you were gonna die

I wish I could say that knowing my expiration date would force me to live my life to the fullest. However, I also know that love to procastinate, so I'd probably be in a similar position in my life, but I would be a much more miserable and unpleasant version of myself.

Not knowing is the license to be fearless.

I read a book once where the protagonist could see people's "expiration dates" in their eyes (she couldn't see her own though). It was sad but it also gave her a lot of perspective. I don't think I would mind knowing my own date, I like planning things. But that's just me.

I don't wanna know because I feel like I would rush my life
instead of "stopping to smell the roses"
if you catch my drift
