I think face tattoos are stupid. Not because I'd think people with them steel and do drugs, that's just ignorant, but because there are very few careers in life where you can have such a visible piece of body art, and you don't know what you'll be doing in 10 years. So that piece of art, might just ruin your chance at a career you would love. I fully support tattooing, and I myself have three rather large pieces of work. However, you wouldn't know if you saw me in a t-shirt and jeans.

Tattoo artist or skinhead are the only occupations I can think of where it doesn't matter if you have them or not.

I've worked several jobs where it doesn't matter if you have visible tattoos. Teachers, RCMP and police officers, many offices now and pretty much every manual labour job don't care. As long as the tattoo isn't vulgar then people generally don't care. Obviously, there are many jobs that do (which is why all my tattoos [5 now, soon to be 7 in a few weeks] are easy to cover with normal clothes). I still think face tattoos are a bad idea. There are less jobs who would allow that, but like I said, pretty much every manual labour job won't give a shit.

Indeed. I suppose a person could cake some make up over them every day. That would be such a hassle though. I just have my caveman and a tattoo on my upper back. They're pretty easy to cover.

Yeah, and even then it looks like a bruise. At this point I'd have to cover my arms and legs, but it's pretty easy and none of my tattoos are gross or anything. Plus, my career choice and alternate choice both don't care about tattoos so I think I'll be fine.
