+436 All rapists should get a mandatory castration upon being found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, amirite?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

There's no "reasonable doubt". Let's say a girl is accusing a guy that he raped her. The truth was that she told him she has a fantasy of being raped. She yelled "No", the cameras registered it, and the neighbors heard her screaming. There is NO DOUBT he raped her, but still, should he be castrated?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

That's consensual!

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Assuming a person is found guilty then sentenced and registered as a sex offender? Well they have already been dealt this by the system so depending on the severity of the crime and the evidence then this can be added on top of all that so we don't have any unwanted rape babies if he strikes again

I'm so ambivalent about capital punishment. On one hand, I don't think anyone (even the government) should have the legal right to kill someone (except for self-defence). The convicted should just rot in prison. On the other, if someone did this to someone I loved, I would hunt them down

...and kick their ass

by Anonymous 14 years ago

that would be considered a cruel and unusual punishment. we don't live in the 17th or 16th centuries when "witches" were burned and people decapitated. justice is not about putting on a show so no one no matter the crime deserves that sort of punishment.

'Witches' are still burnt at the stake and people are still decapitate. It's just not as publisised.

I believe Poland has passed a law that mandates this, except it's not traditional castration, it's chemical. I think it's a good idea; I mean, the rapists bascially forfeit their human rights when they commit an act of monstrosity.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

"the rapists bascially forfeit their human rights" = BULLSHIT

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Not bullshit. How can they have any rights when they don't respect the rights of others? Either they're somehow 'special' that they can have rights and others can't, or they forfeit their own when they don't respect someone else's. A rapist obviously does not respect the right to choose one's own sexual partners; the rapist therefore forfeits his (her) own right to choose sexual partners as well.

Okay, so you're saying if someone's gonads are chopped off they don't get to pick who they have sex with? That they in return will get stuck with some random person? We're not barbarians here, castrating is not the answer.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I understand what you're saying, but castrating a person who has raped someone will not take that right away--it's a completely different situation. People's body parts are THEIR body parts--it's not a right that can be taken away, it's a downright fact.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

but it will take away their ability to ruin someone else's life. which is worth it. also, peoples body parts are THEIR body parts? does the rapist understand that when theyre off raping someone??

by Anonymous 14 years ago

a forced misuse is slightly different from a permanent removal though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

this is were shy girls annoy me, all they have to do is not speak up and suddenly its rape

by Anonymous 14 years ago

WTF? You shouldn't ever engage in a sexual activity with someone if they haven't agreed, and therefore made it consensual. If it wasn't consensual, it was RAPE. Clear and simple.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I highly agree, all sexual offenders should lose their balls. And all pedophiles should have their penis and balls removed, without much painkillers. Once you hurt someone like that, you do not deserve rights.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Oh and if it's a girl, same thing, vagina should be sealed shut, or clit and gspot should be surgically removed. No pleasure for you, sicko.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

How can a girl rape someone?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

with her vagina

by Anonymous 14 years ago

With a strap-on? And it's not that hard to make a guy get an erection. If he doesn't mentally agree, it's rape.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think court should all be done with passed messages, with only the lawyers speaking for the parties, and that there should be a more precise definition of rape. and i didnt know you were into capital punishment owlcityfan14

by Anonymous 14 years ago

it could be mistakenly called rape... and even if they don't have junk, they'll find some other way to sexually offend girls, maybe just in revenge for what happened to them and not 'cause they're attracted...

by Anonymous 14 years ago

sorry i dissagreed by accident, i thought you said RAPPERS... my bad

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Maybe all married people who cheat should have their genitals removed too. And all murderers should get a mandatory death sentence. All slanderers should have their tongues removed. All thieves should have their hands cut off. Etc., etc.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

exactly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Be realistic! There's a major difference between rape and thieving!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

who would pay for it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I cannot condone castration for two reasons. Firstly, testosterone replacement therapy is readily available on the internet meaning that any castrated man can easily retain his virility, or even enhance it by taking a higher dose. Secondly, attacking the testicles is generally accepted as the most effective way for a woman to defend herself against a bigger, stronger man. Potentially violent men should retain that area of vulnerability in my opinion.
