It's in the Bible jackass. Remeber when the beggar gave all her money during church?

Please post something you know is right. And know your facts.

using a cell phone/ipod during Mass is just rude. It's saying "This isn't worth being here for; I have better things to do." You don't HAVE to give money, you know. It's a choice people make to support the church of their choice. I'm going to bet you're being forced to go by the way you're talking, but that's no excuse to be rude. Sit down, shut up, and listen because it'll be over in hour anyway.

texting or listening to music during church is simply rude. the bible DOES say that the begger woman did give her money to her church becuase she loved God and her religion dumbass!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Texting or listening to music during church is EXTREMELY rude. You are only required to go once a week, for ONE HOUR. that's ALMOST 2% of every week! (I don't know if the OP knows this, because the OP wasn't smart enough in the first place to know what I'm saying, but that means you have more than 98% of your week left!) He gave you a life, that is the BARE MINIMUM you can do for God. Get over it, and be appreciative!

if you don't like it, the go the fuck away. Its not like my phone is on loud, i do keep it on vibrate, and sometimes you are forced to go to church by parents. and yes the women gave her money to the church that doesnt mean i should have to and yes its voluntary i understand, i just dont see why that isn't rude. who needs church anyway, if god is truely everywhere than he can be at home end of story. I already know some douche will post something negative anonymously as a response but whatever

Aside from that woman, it does say in the Bible to tithe. (that's 10%) And if your parents are forcing you to go, then you're mad at them not the church, you just don't like church, so get over your anti-church rant.

It IS written in the Bible. Can't you read?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes i can read, i just never bothered to, money should not have anything to do with religion

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok just get it through your thick skull: 1. I'm not comparing a church service to a movie, but you turn the phone off in the theatre don't you? And movies are a heck of a lot longer than a mass. Suck it up for one hour. 2. THEY ARE VOLUNTARY DONATIONS! No the church doesn't have a 'you shall donate money to us commandment' but people give their church money so it can be kept running because they actually care about religion. Unlike you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

actually i dont turn off my cell phone during a movie, i enjoy texting during it but i keep it on vibrate, if it bothered anyone they could come up and tellme but no one ever does, its the same with church. I'm not saying its mandatory and i understand ur point of view, but im saying money and church should not go together. And you don't know if i care about religion or not, thats being judgmental so chill out man
