+241 You had to reread the first 20 pages of Maximum Ride because you didn't know she was a girl, amirite?

i'm afraid of how badly they're going to butcher the movie. it looks like a bad video game.

I know! It's too good of a book to be made into a crappy movie.

IT'S GOING TO BE A MOVIE?!?!?!?!?!?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes. in like 2011 they start production

I could only picture myself as Max. Is that just me?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ha, no, in my mind, I'm Max too, kind of. (Mostly when she's kissing Fang... :D)

yay. Now I don't feel concieted.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol you thought she was a guy

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This has happened with so many books. T_T its not even funny.

i totally agree. when i got into page like nineteen or whenever u find out she isnt a guy i was like,' oh my gosh. that changes the whole story' and then i reread it because i am a visual person so as i read, i play it like a movie in my head. so i had to start over so i saw a girl instead of a guy. i tell u, it really did change the story. kinda like justin bie ber. when i first heard one of his songs i was like,' hey, this girl is kinda gay for singimg about other girl's, dont u think?' but then my sister said it was a guy singing so i had relisten t it. -mattibff

i looooooooved those books. except the sequels get progressively worse because they stopped continuing the original storyline and went into some inconvenient-truth thing

Due to the lack of any real indication on the books, I ended up reading part way in to the second before realizing there was another book. By the time I read the first, I knew already.

HELL NO! I don't know exactly the page, but SHE says something like- "If I was more of a fembot it would bother me that a blindguy 3 months younger than me can cook better then me, but I'm not, so it doesn't." OH SNAP. Ps- on fanfiction.net read Diary of a lovesick mutant. HiLARIOUS.

(Hi-lo:): Yeah, that's page 11. I picked up the book knowing it was a girl, because my friends had read it. If I hadn't, I would have read through to the end and wondered why "he" had kissed Fang...

I know right! I thought Max was a dude.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm glad I'm not the only one

Great book:)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol. Even when it described her long hair, I still thought she was a guy. It wasn't until like halfway through the book when it dawned on me, and I was like, "Wait a sec."
