Dating apps are for desperate people. amirite?

Your shopping for people..searching who got the perfect specs and quality. Yes. It's efficient and low effort. But desperate? Not really, that depends on the person. You could say any form of trying to meet people is desperate depending on how you see it.

That's just how a lot of people meet these days. It's hard to meet people if you work a lot or just aren't able to get out much. This is a potentially easier way.

It's an extremely moronic but common assumption that people using such apps cannot and/or have not gotten dates in real life. A lot of people have not been satisfied with the ones they had and think this will help weed people out and help them meet someone who meets specific criteria more to their liking. ie: cut down on wasted time
