I'd bet roads would be safer, and traffic deaths would be reduced. If all cars are self-driving and following laws, distracted riding is no more, and DUIs are non existent.

I agree that it will be safer when everyone has self driving vehicles, but a mix is going to be rough. But full self driving will be very nice.
