I definitely think that some cultures used a lot of spices because their food was inedible otherwise. Sauces often don't add flavor, instead they replace the existing flavor with the sauce flavor. A good chicken sandwich shouldn't require sauce to be edible.

Personally it's the best fast food chicken sandwich in the market; it's not the best ever, but butter than the stuff McDonald's/Wendys/Burger King/etc is putting out. You can definitely get a better chicken sandwich, but it's also going to cost twice as much.
