That's the risk you take with having a board of directors. He also was not succeeding in any of his experiments and they were losing money and business

They should not have gone behind his back though. And if they are unhappy with the company, they could have sold their share and gone their own way.

Why would they sell their share instead of cutting the fat off the company? He was driving it into the ground. They can sell and make more money which is all the board cares about.

The board of directors are large shareholders, so they own the company as well. Which is why they have a say in how things work. If 10 owners of a company want the 11th person gone then it's their choice.

I know they own the company as well, but that one guy started it so they should be grateful to him and show him some respect. He's the reason why it exists. They didn't HAVE to sell it. It was their greed. They prioritized greed over honour.

Didn't he vaporize a bunch of cops in one scene? Nope, not that bad of a guy

No he was just helping her finish the prayer! While doing some renovation work on the window.

Lots of villains have a sympathetic backstory. He's one of them. Dangling a school bus full of kids off a bridge wasn't great though. "Suffer the little children."

Yeah that was when he progressed from " understandable " to " d*ckwad ". At least nobody got hurt, so he didn't technically commit a sin? lol
