I guess you also live longer if you never get knocked out or get put to sleep during surgery either. Also, you probably wouldn't live all that long if you refuse to give your body sleep.

If it were somehow medically possible to no longer require sleep, you would experience more, yes. But that's not living longer. You would have to word it as ‘you'd experience more life'. Because the length of your life would presumably be the same. Anyway as it is now, people who sleep less retain less of their memories of what they experience. So in a way, by sleeping less, you experience less because you have little recollection of anything you did. The human experience is partly in the moment but also partly reliving experiences through memories.
