What a strange way, of interpreting what i wrote. If i had actually meant that, i would have written that. So no i am not saying that.
by Anonymous1 week ago
Then what are you saying? That we shouldn't expect consistent quality entertainment if we choose to use streaming services?
by Anonymous1 week ago
Independent of what OP wrote: IMO yes, we shouldn't expect all amenities and benefits if we decide to rent movies and shows instead of buying physical media - just because corporations don't want us to have the best experience. If they wanted, they would not take shows and movies off their catalogues and offer the best video and sound quality no matter on which device. They would implement a good search and browse functionality that actually helps to find what you're searching for and so on and so on

I am saying what i wrote, nothing more, there is no hidden meaning, so don't try looking for it.

Ahoy matey

OP lives in an ideal world.

And is, apparently, rich enough to buy the complete Blu-Ray box set of every show they like.

& storage space.
by Anonymous1 week ago
Not really, but i have CD/DVD binders, which can fit 400 DVDs in one binder. So it takes up less space.
by Anonymous1 week ago
It takes up a lot more space than have no binders though.

Buy used. Unless it's a highly sought-after show you get complete seasons for a few bucks each
by Anonymous1 week ago
You do know you can buy one season at a time right?
by Anonymous1 week ago
So if we're not as rich as you we don't deserve to be able to consume whatever entertainment we want?
by Anonymous1 week ago
Yes... that's how money for goods and services works. It's not just yours because you really want it...
by rarmstrong1 week ago
I am not rich. And i never said, people should not use streaming servises.

If you had kept your physical media of the tv show or movie you really enjoy, you would still be able to watch it. Keep? When was it ever the norm to buy physical copies of your favorite shows or movies?
by Global-Valuable1 week ago
If your 30 years or older; it was pretty normal, not so much now
by Anonymous1 week ago
Not everyone can afford to buy physical media and they are absolutely allowed to complain just like you're complaining right now.
by Anonymous1 week ago
I didn't say you couldn't complain. I'm saying you've got no real point.
