On certain issues, yes. They have more experience to be able to teach me something about taxes or maybe foreign policy as they've seen it unfold during their lifetimes, depending on the person. I'd be willing to listen to their perspectives on how Obamacare affected them financially. But no, age doesn't automatically make them wiser as to every issue possible, especially not social issues like LGBTQ+

You completely missed my point, I'm not confused I've known for years my sexuality. My point is regardless if I know it they'll tell me otherwise and attempt to ban marriage, discussion anything related to my sexuality. I believe the problem is more with the power these people have - or the power and influence they think they have - and no term limits. People like Mitch McConnell (who is 82) genuinely believe this country would fall apart without them and have this savior complex that doesn't make any sense. They can't let their power trip go. I work in HR in the USA and people can't be laid off just because of their age. We have legal protection against age discrimination for people over 40.

I mean, John Baird gave a demonstration of a mechanically scanned colour television in the late 20's (around 15 yrs before McConnell was born). In 1944, he gave a demonstration of a fully electronic colour television. That said, he's old for sure and shouldn't be making laws.

Ah...... I love young idiots. They will solve the country's problems- once they figure out how to survive outside their parent's basement. What views are outdated? I see a fair number if young people claim that "X should be free!", or "Y should be free!" and I wonder if they were one of those people responsible for somehow providing these services how they would feel knowing that what they provide is free and therefore they won't get paid....
