+42 You dont know if the most shameful moment of your life has passed, or if it's coming. amirite?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Me too, me too. Sober decision making leads to far fewer and less severe shameful moments.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I just wish being sober was more fun

by maude14 1 week ago

Oh hell no, I don't want to relive that even in my mind. Sorry I brought it up!

by maude14 1 week ago

If you can't even face the past how the hell are you gonna face the future?

by Triston01 1 week ago

Thank you, this was just the sort of insight I needed to turn my life around.

by flavio20 1 week ago

Sorry to hear that!

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I'm pretty sure mine has passed as well, happened to me last week, 😞

by Winter_Application 1 week ago

Could you tell us what happened, or is it too embarrassing?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Interesting

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Too funny I think this made up for what happened to me 🤣

by Winter_Application 1 week ago

8 days ago: "is scratching your butthole good?" 7 days ago: "TIFU by touching my butthole"

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Thanks, just what I needed to hear before a job interview

by FlimsyImportance2187 1 week ago

Good luck !

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I was stuck in trash bin where my whole neighbourhood seen me stuck in it. I don't have nothing else more embarrassing, because stupid stuff I do with knowledge, but that one was kinda an accident.

by Ok_Bunch_8583 1 week ago

Mine has definitely passed. May it never be remembered again

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Or any other "most" moment of your live. Happiest, saddest, etc.

by duncanhackett 1 week ago

You always know. (spoiler: it's coming)

by BlueberryOrdinary 1 week ago

There's always hope I can out do myself

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I feel no shame, so how can something that has never been and never will be be? It cannot.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You could always start feeling shame

by flavio20 1 week ago

How would that help me?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

By helping you feel shame

by Creative-Detective74 1 week ago

That's a circular argument right there. Knowing and or feeling shame may help you only to know or feel shame, but I do neither, and doing so well not help me other than to feel it more, which I do not. Therefore, neither knowing or feeling shame helps me as I do not.

Shame keeps you from being ostracized from society. Unless you already are ostracized from society, you likely do feel Shame whether you would like to admit it to yourself or not. Not having shame is also a sign of being a sociopath, so you might wanna keep an eye on that if you really don't feel it.

by Impressive_Storm 1 week ago

I am not concerned with the opinions of "society." I do not rely on society for anything. If anything society relies on me for the work that I do, but as stated, even without this work I would still be fine. If even pedophiles aren't truly ostracized, I think myself with only not being ashamed or ever having anything to be ashamed of and thus not ever feeling shame, along with never doing anything that I'd be ashamed or caring about the opinions of society of which I never wanted or asked to be a part of, in the future, I think I'll be fine. Nothing to do with knowing or caring about what is right or wrong or morals which are different from person to person, family to family, culture to culture. Also, you shouldn't try to shame people for having mental health disorders/problems. What is wrong with you?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

ever having anything to be ashamed of That's likely only because society has shamed all of your other desires you would have been ashamed of out of you. And I wasn't trying to shame you. You don't feel shame, so that would've been pointless. I was warning you of a possible neurodivergence. There's no need to be defensive. I'm attacking you. Just having a conversation.

by Impressive_Storm 1 week ago

Probably is me right now in the thick of it

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Pretty sure I'm going through it now

by Anonymous 1 week ago

that's why everyday i embarrass myself just a little more

by Electronic-Row 1 week ago

Mine has definitely passed. As bad as it gets

by Anonymous 1 week ago

On one hand, I have more life ahead of me than behind me, on the other hand you're dumber when you're younger. On the third hand, you also have more of an excuse when you're younger

by Elesch 1 week ago

Considering my age, I'm hopeful the worst has passed because I feel fortunate to still be around to read this.

by hymangerlach 1 week ago

I'm always afraid that it's right around the corner. The older I get, the more impactful a really shameful event can be to my future which ups the fear.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

It's passed. I no longer feel shame.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yeah, it's most likely passed.

by robertapouros 1 week ago

Oh, it's coming. It's always coming.

by Impressive_Storm 1 week ago

Given how my life has been trending… idk, maybe?

by Anonymous 1 week ago
