Evolution has come so far that it's created beings who argue over it's existence. amirite?

Reality is as simple as a video game.

And the hard problem of consciousness

Evolution doesn't create anything. Organisms evolve themselves and this process is called evolution. Beings argue because beings want to argue, not because someone or something gave them power to argue.

Causation chains don't create desires/wants. They create tangible worldly things which direct (or misdirect) desires. Desire/will is fundamental, causation chains are tempters of desire. Brains don't create 'want'. Brains are shaped by 'want'. Being a survival machine itself is a result of desire. Genes don't cause us to survive, genes are physical manifestation/form of desire to survive.

I'm sorry to break this to you but all effects, have causes, therefore every effect is part of a chain of causes (those causation chains i was referring to) going back at least as far as the big bang, including desires/wants.

Most philosophers believe in determinism. So even that doesn't work in your favor but keep reaching.

Only weak philosophers do. Ever read Kant?

Oh damn one notable philosopher (who is arguably compatablist, and therefore agrees with me on the ontological claim) wasn't a hardcore determinist, you've changed my whole world view bro.

Just as metric of science is evidence, metric of philosophy is logic. Two scientists may say opposite things but whoever's theory coincides with evidence is considered correct. Similarly in philosophy two philosopher may say opposite things but whoever's logic is better is considered correct. Kant, and his further enhancement done by Schopenhauer, have employed better logics. Of course one's worldview is one's own. 100 scientists didn't agree with Einstein's relativity theory, doesn't make him wrong.

Those that argue haven't evolved quote as much as the rest of us.

Not bad for some hydrogen

That's not all those beings do. They've evolved to do more than that.

It's just a theory. Never been proven. People who are evolutionists ironically have faith the same way a creationist has faith.
