Thats a fine opinion. i think most of his movies portray himself acting as a kind usually humble badass who can do no wrong and never loses. Yknow i can only think of one "the other guys". Besides that i cant recall ever seeing him as a clown character, not counting like a musclebro partyboy role.

JC's performance in Peacemaker was better than any acting performance DJ has ever put on in any project. DJ is good at comedy and he's actually pretty good at music but JC has a lot more range.

The Rock really only knows how to play The Rock with slight variations. John Cena does seem to be able to actually portray different characters. His comedic timing is also superb.
