+50 Being a lightweight for weed and alcohol is a lot more enjoyable than having high tolerance, amirite?

We used to say "it would sure save money to have a lower tolerance" at fraternity events and then ignore every sign from our bodies that we were past our tolerance. You're either having fun or you're not. You're either staying safe or not. Neither of those are going to be reliably linked to a particular milligram dose of an intoxicant.

yeah there was always at least one person going "I'm losing my buzz!" then proceeded to puke their guts out almost immediately after

True story, once I need more than 25mg gummy to get me "floating" I take a break for awhile

by harmony95 1 week ago

2.5mg gets me feeling good. 5mg for a proper high and 10 mg gets me f*cked. I don't find if I don't do it too frequently then my tolerance never changes.

I used to smoke weed all day everyday and I used to drink an irresponsible amount. I've calmed down a lot now. A few hits and I'm good and two shots will get me good and buzzed. I love it, first it saves me money and with alcohol I can avoid the hangover. Weed also makes me anxious so the smaller the amount the better. I'll still go all out with mushrooms though.

This shouldnt be classified as an unpopular opinion. It is objectively true.

Real stoners know that they need a tolerance break of like a month every so often for this reason.

doesn't THC need heat?

My partner's hot enough.

ah nah brah you can extract it with alcohol, haven't you heard of weed 51? 151 and weed.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

sounds interesting. i gave up drinking a while ago though. just aunties sativa and indica, and the yearly confessional with father phil o'cybin

I'm agree with the alcohol thing because it is easy to dose and control the effect. Weed, on the other hand, is harder to measure. One single drag of a joint with a high DHT variety and you might have a bad time. IMHO is it better to have some degree of tolerance to weed to easily adjust your experience.

Definitely cheaper

I feel this. I've been on a break now for 3 weeks after realizing that my gram of badder was gone within a week/ week and a half. I've been smoking for 3 years straight. Feeling good so far.

I really enjoy liquor (whiskey/scotch neat) but it takes a lot to get me good and buzzed and it SUCKS because it's so damn expensive. I wish I was a lightweight.

Two beers gets me stupid you're taking 10mg?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Is this even an opinion? For the vast majority of people it's more about how often they consume either one, tolerance goes up and down, if you rarely do either, your tolerance will be super low.

Huh? Lol you high now?

Being a heavyweight can be handy for winning bets that folks make for some reason. I'm the combo of being a heavyweight and not liking any form of drug (alcohol, caffeine, weed, etc). Alcohol just tastes bad in all forms I've had, and idc if it's an acquired taste I'm not about to hate my life for the sake of…?

Your not wrong. Im like 130 pounds heavier than my girlfriend and it literally takes me twice as many drinks to start feeling drunk than her. It makes me mad jealous lol.

I don't have weed anymore much, but when I did, I'd have 2.5-5mg last me 10 hours. One beer will get me tipsy.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Never had either of them what does that feel to be high or drunk?

by millerkathryne 1 week ago

I would describe high like that feeling you get when you stand up to quickly while holding your breath with a combination of everything being a little more entertaining. Drunk is like being in the deep place in that movie get out watching the more confident you make mistakes

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Explaining that to you would be like explaining colors to a blind person

A lot cheaper too. Not seeing the unpopular
