How would someone faking cancer cause my loved one to die?

My dad died of cancer when I was in highschool. I wouldnt wish that on some attention whoring loser . You need to raise your bar.

Most of the people who fake cancer do it for monetary gain, such as asking for money, large donations, cars, personal gifts, travel / experiences, etc. When they are caught, they can be arrested, charged with fraud and sent to prison (depending on the amount and damages). This will effect their future within their community, relationships, employment, etc. If they then develop cancer themselves and can't afford treatment due to result of their actions, then the taxpayers will be footing the bill and the person wins by getting it all paid for them.
