+43 There's no other profession that sees adults in their pajamas outdoors than school bus drivers, amirite?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Or any other profession where you're in residential areas in the morning. Mailman, garbage man, delivery person, lawn mowing, etc, etc.

Porch pirates

by Olinoberbrunner 1 week ago

I miss being a mailman. This one lady would come to the door in her nightgown every time. I really think there was a chance at a classic porn video story set up. But I never had the balls to press my luck. I got to see it all though. It was very loose and sheer. Offered me cookies and milk once. I'm positive I missed my chance that day and it will forever haunt me.

I, too, sleep in my underwear. I'm wearing them now

by No-Variation-4560 1 week ago

I sleep naked. If you see me in my "PJs" you'll be having nightmares for awhile. 🤣🤣🤣

by Delicious-Air6755 1 week ago

Aren't you always in your pjs?

by No-Variation-4560 1 week ago

Well see there's this wonderful invention called toilet paper. I know most who possess a penis are unaware of its efficiency at catching urine, but believe it or not, dabbing your tip a time or two isn't going to make it fall off AND you don't have to have piss on yourself. I know it sounds crazy but around half of the human population manages to rub it on ourselves multiple times a day without issue.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yep. Sometimes I spend days in my pj's. Only putting on street clothes if I need to leave my apartment.

by Weberriver 1 week ago

I think a school bus driver would beat them all. The others have to coincidentally catch someone outside, or have a package for them to sign. The bus driver has all of the parents outside waiting for them to show up

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Or any profession on a day off and shopping in a store next to a housing estate...

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Where do you live? Where I live it's rather unheard of. I quickly put some "normal" clothes when package delivery is at my door :p

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Heck, if it's my day off, and I'm not going anywhere or doing any work outside, I'll be out smoking in my pj's throughout the day. Why change out of comfy clothes if you don't have to?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I agree. I don't live in a halfway house, I don't have to be up and dressed for breakfast at 8am lol

by Bauchkatelyn 1 week ago

I think half the adult population wears their pajamas to Walmart nowadays…

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Fireman

by Ok_Bedroom4419 1 week ago

Guess youve never been to walmart

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I was going to say that Walmart workers probably see more adults in pajamas.

by Metzcassie 1 week ago

That's the difference between Walmart and Target shoppers. Putting pants on.

by Skilesantonia 1 week ago

Target makes me uncomfortable and I can't figure out why.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

From what I've seen, Target seems to try and put up a facade that it's more classy than it really is. Meanwhile, from what I've seen with Walmart, they're fully aware and accepting of not being classy. I've never found it straight up uncomfortable, but it's definitely off-putting at the very least.

by xveum 1 week ago

It's the anti-kmart

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I was gonna say college professors or anyone who works with college students but I think you have me beat.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

This is more accurate. Bus drivers only see adults with kids. Walmart gets a chance to see everyone regardless of if they have kids.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Or the airport! Pajamas, slippers, robe. Some are still wearing their bonnet, for craps sake.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

He did say outdoors, but I mean they have to be outside there to walk in so…

by Low_Veterinarian 1 week ago

That's not their pajamas that's their formal wear

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Or an airport.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Firemen, EMT's, care workers, police..

by Queasy-Document 1 week ago

Yup. As volly, if it's a middle of the night call, I'm in PJs under my turnout gear. For EMS call, I see people in all kinds of conditions.

by martin35 1 week ago

These days I occasionally see grown adults in a mall or shopping center wearing pajamas. I don't really care or judge but I personally don't even like going out in sweatpants unless it's to maybe run in a gas station or something.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You don't like being comfortable?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I do, but I prefer to look more presentable in public. The two aren't mutually exclusive either.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Food delivery drivers? Mail workers? Police? Am I reading this st wrong?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I'm a binman, I see it 5 days a week. Sometimes it's quite pleasant.

by rempelbarrett 1 week ago

Police do a lot. And firefighters. Paramedics, too. Plus delivery drivers, door-to-door sales people, gardeners, tradespeople, and local journalists.

by Far_Alarm3060 1 week ago

Idk, people who work in the emergency department see a lot of adults in their PJs

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Door to door salesman?

by Harrisdaphne 1 week ago

Police, binmen, shop workers, healthcare professionals, taxi drivers, school teachers, people who review cctv, anyone that has one of those days where you wear pyjamas to work for charity. The list goes on.

by Popular-Ad-3641 1 week ago

At all? Seriously? Even if you qualified your statement with "more often" it still wouldn't be close to true.

by Limp_Pay_342 1 week ago

Except for literally any job that brings one into people's homes. Delivery person, repair person, landscapers, garbage pickup, etc., etc., etc. Not to mention that plenty of adults wear pajamas in public anyway.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Work in a mall and you'll see that

by ygoldner 1 week ago

After 2020 I see adults in pajamas everywhere I go. People consider jeans "dressing up" these days.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Pre-2020 perhaps. Now it's pajamas-a-go-go.

The funny thing is, when the bus came to pick up my special needs kid for school, I was dressed and waiting impatiently, my swimsuit on under my clothes and my towel and stuff in the trunk. C'mon, I gotta go already. With a special kid, you schedule everything for the four or five hours they are in school. So having the luxury of spending time with adults, having a swim and chatting with friends at the pool, I was never in my pajamas.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Try working in a animation/graphics studio. People always be in their PJ's.

by Any_Tangerine 1 week ago

I'd argue that public safety has you beat. Your observation as a bus driver is only parents of school-aged children (or at least it should be... if not, call us). 911/ first responders see adults of all ages in their PJs outside, inside, etc. regardless if they have children with them or not.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Garbage collection does sometimes too if they're late, which was often in the town I worked at haha

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I worked nights at a 24 hour grocery store for a few years doing stocking / watching over self checkout and I've seen plenty of adults in pajamas.
