Streamers who play games off stream are stupid. amirite?

It's really hard to be on the whole stream, it's takes a lot to effort and energy to be active and entertaining. Casual play you can go hours without saying anything or even completing a task.

Yeah but I don't understand spending your leisure time doing the exact same thing. You're not accomplishing anything, you're just playing video games. At least if you're streaming you can make money doing it. I can understand that you have to be up-beat on stream and that can be taxing, but why spend the free-time accomplishing literally nothing?

This is such emotional thinking. You have to think logically in these scenarios. If I have the choice of being paid to do something, I'm not gonna do it for free. That's just excess work.

Why do musicians play instruments just for fun? Drawing just to draw? People have hobbies and activities they do for fun. Not everything in life should be viewed just as a way to squeeze out more money. People can relax and have fun without maximizing profits every waking moment of their existence.

why spend the free-time accomplishing literally nothing? They're accomplishing relaxing and having fun? Did you know some airline pilots fly personal planes in their free time? No passengers, no destination, just flying for the sake of flying. Not every aspect of your life needs to be monetized.

Not all games are going to be good for streaming. Or the streamer might want to play a game in a way that's not very entertaining for an audience, such as heavy grinding in a turn-based RPG.
