-46 I'd Rather Have Wednesdays Off Than Fridays Off in a Hypothetical Four Day Workweek, amirite?

One of my off days is on Wednesdays and I love it. My wife is at work, the kids are at school, the house is quiet all day and I can play videogames in peace.

So while any four day workweek rules, one where you have Friday off you can get longer vacations. Taking a 4 day weekend only costs you one work day. Taking a 10 day vacation only costs 4 days of PTO. With Wednesday off you can't have a 4 day vacation at all. You have to have either 3 or 5 and a three day weekend costs you a day of PTO. A 5 day vacation still costs 2 pto days which would also get you a 5 day vacation with Fridays off.

Big fan of 12hr shifts. For most jobs that ends up meaning you only work 7 out of every 14 days, or as one of the other supervisors at my place put it, you get 26 weeks vacation every year. Plus more jobs. Everybody wins.
