+35 People who are scared to use customer service are insecure, amirite?

You mean you consumed all the soup from your soup and the poor waiter just did it to shut you up and not get the complaint. They absolutely made fun of you after.

that's a stretch if ive ever seen one

Asking for a 'refill' on soup in next level crazy.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I'm going to try that when I next have steak. "Sorry waiter, I finished all my steak but I have the sides untouched. Cook me up another to even out the ratio please".

The insecurity is real

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

That's like ordering a burger and fries, finishing the burger, and asking for another one because you didn't touch your fries.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

No, it would be more like finishing the fries and asking for more, I would never ask for another burger lmao

Guess you like wasting food.. or are insecure

Funny story. My Spectrum bill went up and I didn't understand why. I called customer service and they kept escalating me until I got to a manager, "Sean". Sean was talking to me from his house and actually said to me, "Why is your bill so high? Why haven't you called and complained?" I told him the situation and he said, "Listen, if you call and complain I am authorized to give you the farm." When I hung up my Wifi bill was lowered by $30 per month and I had free cell phone service for the next year. Make the call.

i mean, yeah if you need help + or if something was wrong, but it sounds like you just finished your soup and asked for a soup refill. i don't think that's difficult just kind of embarrassing.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

How is that embarrassing !? If you're embarrassed by something that small that's a sign if insecurity

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

you finished the actual soup. $12 is not that much for a decent french onion at a restaurant it sounds like you wanted a BOWL and were too cheap so asked for a CUP & a refill. it's not a water.

If I got free food who's the real winner here ? Also if the waiter spit in my food because of it, that is called an ‘asshole' I mean, really, people these days are walking on eggshells. Have some life lmao!

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

exactly, that's not customer service. you wanted free food.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You really think I should feel bad for taking 45 seconds out of somebody's day who is there to service me? Truly what is the big concern?

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

no, but that's not service that's products. if the soup is $12 and they have to blow their (soup) money to "service" you, its rude. you probably got a fresh bowl too smh *which takes cooks and dishwashers time as well.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I wanted the full value of my purchase** If they gave me a bonus simply by asking, that's a dub

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

you ate your full value at a restaurant where if it was too small when it came sending it back would be using "customer service"...not "i ordered it once so it's unlimited"...why do you think there are size options?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I figured it was just broth so who cares? They prob have tons. Plus the restuaunt was dead. I don't like wasting food. Your way is a net negative for the world😊

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

As long as you are respectful and reasonable This is the key word. Some of the worst customer service I've received from establishments happen to be the establishments with the worst customers. As for your title, I respectfully disagree slightly: sometimes a customer isn't insecure, but just doesn't want to make a scene, or knows it isn't worth a waiters poor attitude to ruin a meal. I don't go out much at all to restaurants, so I wouldn't want the memory of the few times I do go out, to be in conflict.

by guadalupe05 1 week ago

Interesting, I didn't know you were there to see how I asked

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

Perfect example ^ Snarky and passive aggressive. Every servers worst nightmare

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I was very respectful when I asked

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

"I ran out of broth on my French Onion soup with cheese still in it so I asked the waiter for a refill." So you consumed your first order of soup and asked for more. Just like when I order a beer, drink it, and ask for another one (I guess you could call that a "refill").

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Interesting, but if you ask for a free refill of a beer, they would decline, right, wouldn't it be the servers to tell you if what you're asking for is allowed or not?

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

I was actually asking for an add-on, basically half of an appetizer, and wouldn't be the waiters fault if they tell me they would charge me more for it

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

No, but if you look closely, you can tell if they're annoyed or not

by AggravatingWorking30 1 week ago

i promise you can't unless they want you to know

by Anonymous 1 week ago

excuse me I'm not insecure I'm *anxious*
