Ouch, Mako situation?

by Playful_Corner 1 week ago

Didn't expect a LoK reference here

Like "uh-oh, better get Mako"? Like that?

by Cassineunice 1 week ago

Mako from Legend of Korra had the two girls he dated, the title character and Asami, end up in a relationship.

by Playful_Corner 1 week ago

Did you crash the wedding?

by lorainerutherfo 1 week ago

Not the way I quit.

by Prudent_Marketing_28 1 week ago

This hits hard, especially when you think of situations where a lie was spread and people WANTED to believe in it and bonded over it, making it bigger and bigger, and harder to prove the contrary.

I know they have. I served a religious mission where I had to be with someone at all times. That person you're with rotates. Later down the line, two of my companions met and talked about how weird, clumsy, and awkward I was. I only know because my then current companion was also at the same function and let me know the details. Was a wakeup call that I literally bug every body. I have been self conscious ever since. yay...

I'm married now and I have someone who is awesome at helping me be a better person. I had a ton of things that were wrong with me. I go to therapy now. Lots of changes.

by Over-Evening 1 week ago

I mean on the brightside you probably had hordes of girls waiting to get married when you got home regardless, so does it matter? One of the hidden perks of being a missionary

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

by Cool_Ad6868 1 week ago

Of course. They're my children.

As a high school teacher, I can almost guarantee it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't have a problem with that.

I think bringing people together is important especially in this day and age. Just doing my part.

by Traditional-Test-363 1 week ago

Haha no. There are absolutely many who have done that.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Easier for retribution when they group together then.

by rohangarett 1 week ago

Well I know, they tried to kill me and had the good boy system cover it.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I am not even worth it.

by CarDue327 1 week ago

That's the ticket, stay below the drama.

by Traditional-Test-363 1 week ago

Yep, got to see their messages with my own eyes when they later invited me to their server and I decided to look up my name. One of them is now one of my closest friends, having since realized it was all petty drama

by jonathonlittel 1 week ago

I mean, I guess? I've never experienced that. The closest I've gotten is that I was already friends with someone and we later found out we mutually disliked someone. Is that the same?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yeah and it great to not know who or give a damn about them in the first place.

by Corkerygene 1 week ago

It's also nice to KNOW who and still not give a damn.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You have a point there.

by Corkerygene 1 week ago

Thanks for reminding me.

by Jed15 1 week ago

I got a whole fan club going for sure. I was an awful person growing up.

by Accomplished-Ask982 1 week ago

Oh yeah, some of them are married

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yes, my mom and sister.

by Own_Necessary_6436 1 week ago

They're called parents

Misery loves company

by Longjumping-Use-7559 1 week ago

During high school there was a facebook group for people who hated me. I found it hilarious back then... A little concerning, looking back.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

My ex from college, if I even come up in convo or memory for her, still most likely hates my guts. And her family too.

by IndependentNature 1 week ago

Of course. This was clearly obvious at my last job
