It's pro-lifers that push for legislation that protects fetuses.. So the indignation is oddly worded.. Pro-choicers would prefer to avoid legislation that considers the death of a fetus murder. Some times such laws do not get passed for that reason.

you're right that that's how the legal system works, but in my mind it's normal A woman has a right to determining her own destiny and life. It's her life and she's allowed to choose whether or not to have a baby. Don't forget that just a few decades ago, girls would die getting back alley abortions because they had no safe medical way to do it. Murdering a pregnant woman IS murdering two people, because that baby was supposed to live...he / she was supposed to have a full life and it's not up to someone else to decide to steal that from them

I believe abortion is legal for certain reasons. I mean I don't know if I could live with a child that I was raped to have. Most people can't live with the pain of that night for the rest of the babies life (or their life). So don't complain. Killing a pregnant woman is a double homicide because that baby could have lived.

Once a baby is concieved he's a baby. A baby with a mind, heart, a soul! Children are mother's responsibility, but not to decide whether they live or die. It's no one's right/no one can make that decision to take his life, if you don't want the baby then adoption in the better alternative.

There is a reason that women who have an abortion are much, much more likely to end up being depressed, becoming alcoholics, or abusing drugs. It is because they themselves, who claim that abortion is OK, can't deal with what they have done. They know themselves that abortion is terribly wrong, that it IS killing an innocent, unborn baby, and can't live with it. So those that say that a woman shouldn't have to live with a baby it decides it can't live with, consider how short-sighted that train of thought is. The reality is that only when a woman has an abortion does she then have something that she can't live with.
