Girls can't even wear tank tops or shorts these days without being called a slut, even when it's 90 degrees outside. But guys can just go shirtless whenever they want, and no one will say anything. amirite?

I never got why people are so quick on the slut label in general. So a girl wears revealing clothing or has sex alot... how does that affect your life so much that you gotta go around name calling?

I'm not sure where you live that girls who wear tank tops are called sluts. And how does a guy not wearing a shirt make him someone who should be called a slut anyways? Maybe it's just hot outside, and that's the best way to cool off. It sucks that society has problems with shirtless females, but it's not forbidden either. I believe someone had it overturned in the New York Supreme Court, using your same argument.

In ontario, it is legal for women to go shirtless now. (due to an equal rights movement) Not that it's common to see any though. :P

no, but they were thinking it. I hate to admit, but whenever i see girls walking with short shorts and walking in that way (you know?) i think "wow slut". Well not like in the slut way but in the "you can wear shorts that are a bit longer and not revealing too much skin" way. i am a girl just so you know.

They're not saying that guys shouldn't be allowed to go shirtless, just that girls should be able to wear skin bearing clothing without worry. But I said No Way because I call out guys for going shirtless hah. I mean, I like to look and all, but I don't see it as necessary so it just seems like a way to show off.

Well the male body is not really such a sexual object. It is designed to work, and that is what it does when put to work. The female body has evolved to entice. Like a mocking birds call, it has no real use but to lure others. Sure you can change it with plenty of exercise to tone breasts small and muscled etc but a topless man is not as interesting. It is more when nipples or crack etc are showing that a girl is thought to be more sluttly. Mystery is way sexier and classy when it comes to encounters with womens bodies. To start with anyway. If you wont go topless don't complain. You still get dresses and skirts in places with uniforms, we dont get shorts.
