I hate it when someone says K. Not only does it cause confusion[is it potassium or Knock from Knock Out?]. in the end most of the time it is a shortened version of ok which is a shortened version of okay.

Its ok to say things like lol out loud when something's not relly funny enough for hearty laughter, or when ur talking in class and a teacher would notice a laught but not lol. Also when ur talking about games, things sound funnier with abbreviations for some reason.
