Helga's dad is mean and her mom is neglectful. She feels inferior because her older sister is beautiful and perfect. She is madly in love with Arnold, and is only mean to him because she doesn't know how to express herself. Because of this, Arnold doesn't like her. She bosses her only friend Pheobe because she can't express how grateful she is to her. Helga is a sad character if you think about it.
