+205 Stop complaining about how rich people get everything and work hard to get rich yourself. This is a free country; communist soldiers aren't going to show up and confiscate your money. People are at perfect liberty to have money. amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Majority of rich people are handed the money from their parents or someone related to them. While everyone else who works hard (if they are even lucky to work at all) get the shorter stick.

Go to a communism society then.

Right, and working hard doesn't always make you money. Many careers are better posed to make millions than others. I mean Hell, any major CEO makes more than pretty much any politician, and no matter how great of a teacher you are, you'll still make less than any half-decent software engineer.

Not all hardworkers make shit. And the rich people had to get rich somehow. Carnegie- Broke when he got to America. Jobs- Made money recycling Coke bottles after he dropped out of college. Rowling- Dirt poor when she wrote Harry Potter. My friend's mom had a rough childhood, but now she's a pharmacist and she's very well off. Working hard usually pays off in the end

True, not all hard workers make shit. That being said, not all rich people have worked hard to get to the top. Working hard usually pays of... if you have at least something to start with. What about those who have absolutely nothing?

You work your way up. It requires a lot of dedication and effort, but it can be done. If I wasn't being kicked off the computer in 10 minutes, I'd search for examples of people who are now rich that started off with nothing. Sorry. ): edit AH. Here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/17/rags-to-riches-worlds-ric_n_671253.html#s120737&title=Lloyd_Blankfein_CEO Googling "rich people that started with nothing" is quite effective, as it turns out.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not always. And why would you waste your time searching for a list of rich people? I know how to Google, and I'm not saying those people don't exist. Really.

Hmm, my turn; http://wcfcourier.com/news/metr...b10aacb97.html Turns out, googling obvious stuff and posting the article redundantly along with an overdone sarcastic note is quite easy to do, as it.... turns out.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I actually really didn't mean for that to sound sarcastic. Sorry!! And I'm on my iPod right now, so I'll check it as soon as I have access to a computer.

It says "page not found"...

http://www.forbes.com/wealth/billionaires#p_1_s_arank_-1__-1 tell me, for how many of those people does it say inheritance?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is not a fucking free country. This is the internet. Stop with these damn "its a freee countyr!!1" posts, they're fucking annoying. Again, you can tell you're American and ignorant of the outside world, can't you?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't see how freedom has much to do with complaining about spoiled rich people. Unless you mean what that Biblical parable was talking about: If you are being paid/treated fairly, don't worry about what payment/treatment the next guy is getting

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Eh. It's annoying when people complain, but it can also be irritating when people were born with a silver spoon in their mouths and know nothing about working. I was actually told by one of my friends that it was "absolutely revolting" that I would be working for my money over the summer. Meanwhile, he has two iPads, three summer homes, and about ten instruments that he gave up on learning how to play. I guess what I'm saying is you probably shouldn't generalize either way. It all depends on the person.

Use your brain not your back. Smart people (not necessarily college educated people) take the right chances and opportunities and become successful. Also, if you enjoy your job, then money shouldn't matter as much.

I'm from North Korea and what is this?
