So a kid should be sentenced to death if they lie? Because that's
The consequence of breaking an unbreakable vow.

You have still had different experiences, and the way you react to and interpret those experiences also plays a large part in determining personality.

But I could argue that the way I interpret and react to situations is an inborn personality trait.

When it first came out (around fifth grade for me), I used to be so scared of Just Like Heaven. Yeah, that romantic comedy with Reese Witherspoon... The summary is "A lonely landscape architect (Ruffalo) falls for the spirit of beautiful woman (Witherspoon) who used to live in his new apartment." It sounds innocent but man, Witherspoon's character popped out of nowhere unexpectedly all the time, and I was so scared to walk around my house after that.

I disagree. If you depended only on how you grew up, then in theory, you and your brother should have the same personality.

I was about to say the same thing. Me and my sister have grown up exactly the same, but we have way different personalities.

Am I the only one who doesn't get the point of growing, eating 18 years of food, using 18 years of resources living 18 years of memories, having 18 years of friends, and 18 years of ideas. Then to have all of that straight up erased in an instant with a bullet?

This is kind of unrelated, but my dad uses the verb "****" as meaning "whining" (I'm not sure why) and so whenever he says it I have to stifle laughter.
Like the other day, my brother was complaining about something and then got his way, and so my dad sarcastically said, "I guess the lesson here is that **** will get you far in life."

I can vouch for the fact that it hurts like hell when said nerf gun is rigged with a rubber band to shoot more rapidly, and the bullet hits you in your open eye. It happened to me, and I couldn't open my eye for hours. After that, my dad made me wear his shooting goggles whenever I went to my friend's nerf war (don't judge the fact that my friends and I have nerf wars...)

Even if they did just say "15% or more," the advertisements usually say it COULD save you that amount. Meaning it could just as easily save you 0%.

Back in fourth grade, I started pretending I could tell the future. I told this one girl she would get married and her husband would develop testicular cancer and die.
She then proceeded to ask the teacher what testicles were, and then the teacher looked at me like she was completely disgusted with my knowledge of anatomy and I was shamefaced. This embarrassed me more than the **** story from above ^^.

In elementary school I always thought it was just two people kissing while they were naked, until somebody told me a joke about the guy's train going through the woman's tunnel. I was so scarred.

Just because it's assumed doesn't mean recognition isn't in order.
It's more of a, "Congratulations! You just finished a chapter of your life that has lasted twelve years!"
I mean, it would kind of suck if you spent twelve years worth of time and energy trying to get through school and when you finally finished your parents were just like, "Oh. Well. Of course you finished high school." It's nice to have some recognition for the hard work.
