+570 It's harder for you to not lose your pencil than it is for Hogwarts to not lose their Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, amirite?

I've had the same pencil for three years. Only because it has skulls on it.

It's easier to lose your pencil than it is for Hogwarts to lose their Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

harry potter metaphors ftw.

Or "It's harder for you to keep track of a pencil than for Hogwarts to keep a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher."

Does this even make sense? Shouldn't it be "losing a pencil is harder than hogwarts losing a defense against the dark arts teacher"?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, because losing a pencil is a very easy and achievable task, and Hogwarts loses their Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher almost as frequently.
