Are people born wicked, or do they have wickedness thrust upon them, amirite?

The latter, everyone is born innocent but it's our surroundings that shape us into who we are

On the contrary, we have to be taught the good things we do. Babies are instinctively selfish. They grab for stuff, and cry when it's taken away. Children are liars. We have to be taught to be moralistic, decent people.

Well they said 2010, but I think they are going to push it to 2011-2012. Sadly it's not Idina and Kirstin because they are both too old (even THEY knew they were too old lol):/ But honestly I think the best person to cast for Elphie would be Lea Michelle. I have always thought her resemblance to India was uncanny and I think she'd do fantastic. :)

you're saying how no one is born wicked or can have wickedness thrust upon them. in the play, galinda is questioning that very thing because elphaba [the wicked witch of the west] is portrayed to be wicked. she wants to know whether she, or anyone for that matter, can be born wicked or is it something they become later on in life.
