I've always wanted to have a lucid dream. I think I came close a couple times but then I woke up.

Theres a technique to have your body fall asleep while you are still conscious, which is what I do and is pretty successful.

And what's the trick?

I think you are talking about an obe (out of body experience) Did you feel any vibrations, any noises in the process? Did you ever get out of your body and see your body? Did it feel very real?

I have had a dream like that twice. Once, I knew I was dreaming but it was more like a nightmare because I couldn't wake up! The other time I jumped off of a building and flew :P

I consider myself of an expert on the theory of lucid dreaming. However, I only had one. I woke up one second after I realized I was dreaming (which is normal), but that one second of realization felt amazing.
