Most of us would die; we're so used to just going to the store and buying food. There's no animal grocery store.

The food chain is your food and as an animal you actually enjoy eating snakes or bugs or whatever plus it's FREE.

I feel sorry for pigeons...seems like all they ever do is sit there, look for scraps, and aim their poo at cars/people.

I think at LEAST 20% of American cats or dogs get abused. So, you have a 1 in 5 chance of being placed with a bad owner who doesn't give a shit about you. Nothing that special about our american pets. :/ If anything, we treat them worse.
