-190 It's not possible for you or other people to know if you are gay/lesbian when you are only 13. amirite?

Some people discover when they're five! Like, if you're a girl and you had a crush on Jasmine instead of Aladdin, that could tell you something. And some people mature and figure out their sexuality quicker than others.

I've always been amazed when people knew stuff like that when they were so young. I don't even remember being 5.

Conversely, that means you can't know if you're straight either. Looking back, I've always known I was straight, but never knew what it meant. I thought I just liked the ways girls looked better than the way guys looked. I watched shows like Winx Club and Totally Spies because of it, and told my parents they were comedies.

I knew I was straight when I was 5 and had a crush on my gym teacher. Why wouldn't it be the same if I was a lesbian? When you know. You know. It's not about age.

It's not about age. Some people know when they're really young, some people are still questioning as adults.

My very first kiss in grade school was with another boy, never really saw it as a big deal.

Disagree first hand. I knew at 11.

But 13 is the age when most people start puberty.... This is one of those posts that's so bad that it got home paged... isn't it..? To stir up some arguments i suppose.
